Bank Accounts

Manage the Malaysian bank accounts that you link for MYRC withdrawals.

Overview

In the Bank Accounts section, you link your personal or corporate bank accounts to your BLOX wallet. For safety and regulatory compliance, each withdrawal must go to an account in your name. This name must match your verified MyKad or Passport.

Managing Bank Accounts

To see your bank accounts:

  1. Tap Bank Accounts in the sidebar menu.
  2. See the list of your linked accounts.
  3. See the details of each account, for example the bank name and account number.

Adding a New Bank Account

To link a new bank account:

  1. Tap the Create Bank Account button.
  2. Select Bank: Select a supported Malaysian bank from the list (for example, Maybank, CIMB, or Public Bank).
  3. Account Number: Enter your bank account number. Do not use spaces or dashes.
  4. Account Holder Name: The app writes the name from your verified BLOX account. You cannot change it. The bank account must be in this name.
  5. Account Name: Enter a label that helps you identify the account, for example "Savings".
  6. Tap Submit to link the account.

[!IMPORTANT] You can link more than one bank account. Each account must be a valid Malaysian bank account in your name.

[!NOTE] BLOX sends each transfer to a linked account in your BLOX account name. If your bank has the account in a different name, the bank can return the transfer. A withdrawal to that account can also take more time.

Using Bank Accounts

After you link a bank account, you can select it when you withdraw MYRC to MYR.

Common Questions

Why must the name match?

Malaysian financial regulations (AML/KYC) apply, and BLOX must prevent fraud. Thus, BLOX sends withdrawals only to bank accounts in the name on your verified BLOX account. BLOX sends each transfer in that name.

There is no fixed limit on the number of personal bank accounts. All the accounts must be yours.

Can I delete a bank account?

Yes. If you do not want to use a linked bank account, remove it in the Bank Accounts section.

What if my bank is not listed?

BLOX supports all major Malaysian financial institutions. If your bank is not in the list, contact support@blox.my.
